Baccarat Variants
There are three widely played variants of this card game: punto banco (or North American baccarat) which is the version that is probably the most widely played, baccarat chemin de fer (railway), and baccarat banque (or à deux tableaux).
Baccarat Punto Banco is a game of chance, with no skill involved; each player's moves are forced by the cards the player is dealt.
In baccarat chemin de fer and baccarat banque, by contrast, both players can make choices, which allows skill to play a large part.
